"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” - Albert Einstein
We design location based games for learning and custom augmented reality.
Today, young people are learning anywhere, anytime in structured and unstructured learning environments some physical and some virtual. These learning experiences and driven by learners’ personal interests and peer groups. They also want to play more and collaborate along with like-minded learners often using social networks, digital media, games and mobile devices to integrate education into their lives and their community.
The curiosity lab works with a team of designers, educators, mentors and subject matter experts to facilitate integrated learning opportunities all over Melbourne and beyond.

We focus on 21st Century skills and help young people become media literate and good digital citizens. We do this by building quests, learning trails, location based challenges, and we extend real world learning with virtual or augmented learning. Participants create and play with audio, photo, video and use blogs and social media to collaborate and share. Participants learn collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, information and media literacy, digital citizenship.
Programs also include elements such as reputation management, innovation and creativity, flexibility and adaptability, goal setting and pathway planning along the way. We can also create or tailor location based games and custom augmented reality to meet your desired learning outcomes. Let us be part of your school's blended learning strategy.
